USB2.0 extension card for PC and Mac G4/G5

Basically it enhances the number of available USB ports on your computer. But on top of that it gives you USB2.0 ports with high quality and better USB clock stability. With most USB1.1 audio designs this will reduce jitter in the audio, leading to better sound quality.

On USB1.1 ("USB fullspeed") there's a couple of external soundcards available causing problems with some computers. One issue is full scale white noise setting in after a while, another one constant glitching in sound. In some cases the device is not even detected. With some multichannel USB2.0 soundcards the computer's built-in USB is not capable of processing all the channels (e.g. CPU load goes to 100%) or doesn't provide the necessary bandwidth (bad sounding audio, which returns to normal reducing the samplerate or number of channels).
